1. Mariyaan : Bharath Bala's Mariyaan is getting the huge response all over. Dhanush is all set to impress his native audience again after smashing B-Town audience with Raanjhanaa. Mariyaan deals with the story of fisherman who calls himself as the 'Prince of Ocean'. Because of his wife's wish, he change his job and go to Sudan. The movie takes a turn at this movement. It deals with the sufferings of dhanush and how he returns back to his home town after facing so many difficulties. The movie concludes saying 'Love is Immortal'. This is the real life incident in 2008.
2. Pattathu Yanai : Action star Vishal has made his second appearance in Screen after Samar in this year. The female lead Aishwarya Arjun, daughter of action king made her entry through this film. The story is about the young persons moving to trichy for starting Hotel and what are the difficulties faced by them from Police and Local goons. And finally, Vishal tackle the situation in the second half. The second half of the movie is little bit slow but Sathanam comedy is the highlight in that part.
3. Sonna Puriyathu : Sonna Puriyathu is a Tamil Comedy Film directed by Krishnan Jayaraj. Mirchi Siva and Vasundhara kashyap are doing the lead roles. The film might work for Siva. The film revolves around the story of a young man who is not interested in marriage, then at later stage how he gets an idea of getting marriage forms the crux of the story. The first half is far better than the second half. Overall the film is good for the audience who came with less expectation.
