“Thanga
Meengal”
is a Tamil Dramatic movie written and directed
by Ram after
his first film Kattradhu Thamizh. Ram plays a lead role alongwith
several newcomers.
This
movie trailer was released on March 15,2013 in U-tube and the movie
is proposed to release on July 26th,2013.Ram collaborated with music
director Yuvan
Shankar Raja
and lyricist Na.Muthukumar
again
after his first movie.
The
audio released on 30th April, at Sathyam Cinemas. This album consists
of Four tracks, in which one of the song sung by the children Sadhana
and Sanjana who both acted in this film and the song is likely to be
a School Anthem which describes about the current education system.
This
story is about the “middle-aged” man who gets separated from his
wife and daughter, just for the sake of earning money. Padmapriya was
roped in for an important role who came back to the filming after two
years time gap. The filming was completed in 53 days and the shoot
was held in many scenic places like nagercoil, cochin. Comedian
Karunas, schoolmate of ram is given a lead role in this film as a
comedian. This movie is produced by Gautham Menon, Reshma Ghatala,
Venkat Somasundaram.
